A view from El Alto of Bolivia, the highest capital city in the world. The altitude is 3,650 meters making it 3.5 times higher than Calgary where I am from. The next three post will be of Bolivia as it was an amazing trip.
Hola Kristopher, Welcome back to Chile from experiencing the Carnival in La Paz - isn't it incredible, all the masks, dancing and people in the streets!? I'm looking forward to reading more about your trip, your photo brought back memories for sure!
I'm leaving Hawai'i for Calgary tomorrow so am a little envious reading that you're actually in Chile until June. It looks like you're making the most of your time there. You may not want to leave and I say this because it happened to me - I went to Bolivia to volunteer for 2 months and as mentioned in my previous post to you, it turned into 8 years! But what an adventure - the bus rides alone were something else! Take and saludos! Sherri
